Friesons are fine guitars. Why are you selling, if I may ask? Has any work been done on it?

@Intune. I have very little time to play it these days..... Traveling a lot, much busier now that I am retired....go figure!! I have owned this absolute sweetheart for almost six years and the only work needed was to change the strings once in a while!! That and wipe it down from time to time! It has been completely trouble free.

If you search Youtube for "Jim Frieson" you will find sound samples of Frieson Guitars. The first one on the page is the one that is currently being offered for sale.

I just looked at the photos and have a question: there seems to be a white line perhaps two inches long on the back of the guitar, located on the bass side near the center-line several inches below the heel. It runs in the same direction as the wood grain. Is this a crack? A scratch? I noticed it on several of the photos and was hoping you could describe what it is. Thanks.

Sorry, just saw this post...... The "white line on the back" is a break in the finish. Jim had offered to fix it for me if I returned it to him (it arrived at Reverie guitars in that condition). When I received it I saw that it is NOT a crack in the Brazilian but just a break in the finish I decided to leave it alone. It has remained stable for the nearly six years I have owned it.

Notice that I have revised my asking price by adding the OBO (or best offer) to the intro line. I would be glad to entertain any and every offer!

Hi,
If I were to make an offer, how would that work with the action that is going on...

Yeah, the deal closed on e site early this morning (3 a.m.) Should not have posted it as an auction. Live and learn!

Yeah, I saw that, and almost bid, but I'm on the hook for another guitar. ;)

You should have put a reserve on the listing, and also made sure that it did not end at 3 a.m. East Coast time. Every guitar will sell on the bay, in a no reserve auction, just not necessarily at a price that makes the seller happy. I don't know why the classical guitar market seems weak over there.
