Beautiful Marlon Navarro Negra flamenco guitar. Marlon built this especially for me. I had been foolishly carrying around a vintage flamenco guitar to teach in my students' homes. I finally figured out it would be more prudent to carry around a less expensive guitar.
While I was at it I decided to fulfill a bug I had recently developed - after forty years of playing blancas I thought I would try a Negra. Unfortunately however - perhaps it's a case of "you can't teach an old dog new tricks" - although it sounds terrific, I just can't get used to the different sound, especially in the bass.
Marlon naturally gives every guitar his all, but he said he would make something "special" just for me. He certainly did, but I am going to stick with blancas. This guitar looks great and sounds great, and in addition to being a fine flamenco guitar it is perfectly suitable for classical guitar music as well. I think it will make someone very happy.
I played it once for a short while, and it is in pristine original new condition. Price includes a hard shell case, two extra sets of La Bella flamenco guitar strings, and free shipping.
NOTE: The four dark areas in the lower part of the photo of the back are just reflections.
