Yes I see Der Jung being used now on some more up market guitars.
This is really starting to open up , great bargain for the price.

Hi Gary,

I've only just joined the forum and I've received your PM. Unfortunately it doesn't look like I can reply to you yet as I haven't made sufficient posts.

Agreed, very nice tuners for the price! Very smooth and precise.

Hi,

It's certainly been an eventful, and somewhat expensive day! Joined the forum this morning, and purchased a guitar this afternoon!

Really looking forward to receiving it next week. Now I just need to practice so that I can do it justice!!

@ Corius: let me congratulate you again. I took a look at your introductory post and I will not be surprised if this Picado guitar will give you more joy the the guitar by other maker that you have mentioned and you have sold some time ago. Please, keep us informed on your impressions.

Many thanks to Gary for the great service, and for answering all my questions.

I'm really delighted with the guitar. It is beautifully made and sounds magnificent to my novice ears. It's the first time I've had machine-heads on roller bearings and it's worth the price for that alone :)

As I mentioned in my introduction I am getting back to the guitar and I was looking for an equivalently priced new Bernabe, Burguet, Contreras or similar. I really feel that I've got a bargain in going for used this time.

I'm around intermediate standard, but with fingers that need to be woken up again, and the Picado is a great incentive to get me practicing.
