Marcelino Lopez Nieto (Classical Concert Guitar)
1969
Scale: 660mm
Top: Cedar
Back & Sides: Brazilian Rosewood
Fingerboard: Ebony
Sound is wonderfully balanced with great clarity and sustain. A very warm guitar with the most amazing trebles.
Condition: A vintage guitar from 1969 which has had a re-polish in the past. Some of the previous ware prior to the polish is still visible but still very much a beautifully aesthetic concert guitar by this very great maker. No previous or current cracks or splits.
£4995.00
Viewing is highly recommended to appreciate the how wonderful this guitar really is. If you are not able to come along to try this guitar then it may be possible I can send it to you for trial.
I live in a village named Grappenhall which is just outside Warrington city. Nearest train stations are Warrington Bank Quey or Warrington Central.
Nearest motorway junction is M6 jnc 21 (4 miles straight run of this junction)
Nearest airports are Manchester or Liverpool.

This really is a fantastic guitar!

Looks wonderful, so good luck with the sale. Didn't he once work for Ramirez?

Thanks. It us really a stunning guitar.

Marcelino never worked for Ramirez. In fact, reports suggest that he did all he could do not to make in the style of Ramirez.

There is an article on Marcelino Lopez Nieto in the Spring 2014 edition of Orfeo. Over 80 and still making guitars!

I have played this guitar and can confirm that it is an exceptional instrument in very good condition for its age.

Thanks very much Derek!

Hopefully it will find a home soon enough :-)
