SE €.1900 Alhambra Luthier signed by Jaime Julia cedar 1998, Malmö, SWE - Sold

Post by rinneby » Sat Dec 03, 2016 1:59 pm

- Type: Alhambra Luthier - Signed by Jaime Julia
- Year of construction: 1998
- Scale length: 650mm
- Action: 4/3mm
- Top: Solid cedar
- Back / Sides: Solid rosewood
- Sound: Deep and clear with great sustain
- Condition: Very good (except a little suntan on the back)
- Price: €1900 including a VGV Deluxe hardcase + shipping world wide
- Trades: Make me an offer I can't refuse.
- Location: Sweden/Malmö

This Alhambra Luthier was the top model in 1998 and the predecessor to Alhambra Luthier India. Hand built by Javier Mengual and José Margarít and signed by Alhambra’s former Managing Director, Jaime Juliá. As you can see from the pictures the guitar is in very good condition with minimal dings. No cracks or repairs. I would describe the sound as deep and clear with great sustain. The action is 4/3 with room left on the saddle to lower if desired.

Right now I am into Japanese vintage guitars, so feel free to ask me for a trade and maybe we can work something out.

The color of the wood or your photography lighting is decadent.

Yes, I should probably hire a professional photographer :) I use a simple iPhone. But the wood on the back as I mentioned (if that is what you mean) has been a bit suntanned.

Thank you very much, it sure is. By the way, in Sweden "decadent" means something like "tired of life" :)

Here in the States "decadent" means so desirable or luscious it makes one lose morals
