Mineshaft Redwood Sets -- sold

Postby Chris Sobel » Wed Dec 07, 2016 11:38 pm

Howdy,

Up for grabs are two sets of the mineshaft redwood I acquired recently. One set is large and will fit a steel string guitar and the other a classical. This is really beautiful one of a kind wood and I will probably regret selling some in order to buy christmas presents for people.

The sets from this resaw are lower density redwood that are really suitable for classical builds, but they are stiff enough for steel string as well. The couple I tested from this block had a density between 350-370kg/m3 with a c of 4600-4800. Pretty respectable for redwood. The wood is probably close to 80-100 years old.

One of the halfs of the sets has a branch incursion that falls well outside of the template. I would maybe do one more set in addition to these if you wanted, PM me.

$180 shipped priority express anywhere in the US. I'll ship worldwide just ask me and I can quote based on location.

Thanks,

Chris

I forgot to add, I'll include a billet of bracing stock of the same redwood (2 guitars worth) with the two tops.

Thanks!
