This is a unique opportunity to acquire this incredibly rare and stunningly beautiful 1972 Rokkomann TG008J classical guitar. It was built for Rokkomann by Takamine and, like many top of the line Takamine guitars the bracing is similar to the semi-lattice design by Masaru Kohno. This is hardly surprising, as Takamine's head luthier, Mass Hirade, worked for Kohno before joining Takamine in 1968.
Scale length is 650mm and nut width is 52mm.
This guitar was priced at 80,000¥ in 1972, making it a very expensive instrument at the time.
The action is very comfortable at 3.5mm low E and 3mm high E at the 12th fret, making playability excellent. Comes with an old hard case, which is probably not original, but of the period.
