Last winter the guitar has been sent to a customer, but the delivery company probably let the guitar froze overnight (or over more nights) somewhere in their warehouse or van, because the guy reported and photo-documented cracks in its nitrocellulose lacquer upon receive. As he did not want it any more, it got returned. Martin was a bit devastated by this and it lied stored at his workshop till like 3 weeks ago. He asked me if I could make a YouTube video and offer it for a very low price (his usual price range is € 1500 - 1700), because of the cracked lacquer on the back, sides and neck (see attached photos - this is why is the price that low). The top is French polished - as shellac is far more flexible than nitrocellulose lacquer, it withstood the temperature differences. The sound, ergonomics and the rest remained intact.

Students of classical guitar get extra discount € 100.

With 8mm string spacing at the nut I guess the nut width is smaller than 52mm?

It is only slightly less on this one, 50 mm. I've updated the description above.

beautiful guitar!

I can hardly see any laquer issues except for the neck picture.
can you please post some more detailed photos?
How does the cracks affect the feel on the neck, is it very prominent?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Hi waitswatcher. Thank you for your interest, but the guitar was sold sooner than I noticed your questions.

I am not surprised that it sold quickly. It seems someone got a bargain.
