The luthier:
Unfortunately there is not much information available regarding Thomas Redlin.
According to this article, he worked as true apprentice in the workshop of Antonio Marín in Granada.
Later, he moved back to Germany and opened a workshop in Stuttgart, where he built this guitar.

The guitar:
This is the guitar mentioned in this topic:
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=105432&hilit=redlin

I got this guitar from a guitar teacher, who used it during his guitar study in Hannover.
The neck is quite thin and very comfortable for left hand.
It has a fast response, offers a good volume and sustain and is very balanced between the registers.
The tie block is inlayed with abalone, and together with the MOP buttons of the Reischl tuners gives a bit of shiny look of the guitar.
The back and sides are made from rosewood, but I’m not sure what kind of rosewood it is. I would be grateful if other member can share some thought.
It is a lovely spruce/rosewood guitar, with which I hate to part.
Only selling to fund a commission with a delcamp luthier.

Shipping:
Due to the new CITES regulation, I can ship the guitar within European Union without problem.
Please consult for shipping outside EU.

I'd be happy to answer your questions or send you high quality pictures.

Any idea, what kind of rosewood the back and sides are made of?

Hi Leo!
This is quite funny. It certainly looks similar to the one I tested autumn 1990 and the sound has opened up since then. Did you buy it from Jørgen? A lot of guitar for 2190€!

Hi Vesa,

Thanks for your comment.
The sound sample doesn't justify the real sound of the guitar.
And I blame it to the equipment I have: iPhone 4s with Tascam iM2.

The label says 4/90. It could mean "April 1990" or "4th guitar in 1990", etc.
Indeed it would be really funny, if this is really the guitar you tried back then in 1990.
No, I didn't buy from your teacher Jørgen.
I bought it from an Italian guitar teacher, who teaches locally here.
From whom he bought the guitar, I have no idea.

Madagascar rosewood?
That is also my guess.
