May I ask why you didn't repeat the beginning of the piece? I would have thought, as the home key is Em, it should be returned to after the E major section.

The "Da Capo" is at the end and there is no "Fine" word on the score. So, the piece still ends in E major with the repetition as well.

Just checked my score. You're quite right. I'd never noticed that! I was taught to replay the Em section. It seems a lot of people have done that, even Bream. I suppose musicians since, have paid a more precise attention to the score. However, I still think it's a possibility that the word Fine was omitted by mistake. Who knows!
