Tárrega, Francisco - Prelude No. 11 in Dmaj - D06

Post by tateharmann » Fri Jul 14, 2017 2:10 am

Still having a go at the no-nails with gut and silk strings approach. It's not easy - but the sound is so mellow and sweet, it's worth the effort. I like this little prelude as it can expose quite a large tonal range on the guitar.

You do get a wonderful round and full tone without nails. Very sweet! I tend to play this prelude faster than your version here; thanks for showing me how great it sounds slowed down some. Take time and bring out the notes! is what I need to do.

Your tone is very sweet and mellow indeed, such a big pleasure to hear this gut and no-nails sound!
