Are there long term dangers in using nail polish?

Post by rjc7313 » Tue Apr 04, 2017 11:39 am

I've always have had nails that were impossible to grow. Because I had a music exam coming up a few weeks back I purchaseda sally Hansen nail polish "maximum growth". It helped a lot and my nails grew out a bit.but last week after I had finished my exam I wasn't bothered to repolish my nails in just 2-3 days they went paper thin (More weak than they have ever been) and the tips all broke off.
is this what commonly happens when you stop using nail polish? I was hoping that I could stop using mail polish once my nails had grown out as the polish causes a very harsh/metallic tone

I use multiple coats of Sally Hansen Double Duty and have been for years with no problems. I always have it on and if it peels off, I replace it immediately. I think that any product that promises "maximum growth" or anything like that is b.s..

I tried the maximum growth and found it pretty worthless.
