Bach, J. S. - BWV 0998 Allegro

Post by Fluorspar » Sun Jul 31, 2016 3:59 pm

Hello all! Just posting a recording of my new Sakurai :D This was recorded in one try on the day I got the guitar, so it isn't perfect but I think it will pass. Will probably upload a better version (probably the full suite) in the future.

Yea, you get a pass.
Nicely done and well done snagging the Sakurai.
Getting better bit by bit, day by day.

Very impressive and compelling playing. Bravo.

Did I detect a back-buzz every so often? Sort of a chime-like extra sound.

thanks! I'm not sure what buzz you are referring to, but it could be from the left hand squeaking on the fresh new basses :?

Wow, that was great. Given how well you play the Allegro, I'd love to hear you play the whole suite (especially the fugue as it's my favourite movement of BWV 0998). Thanks for sharing.

+1

Mighty fine - especially considering it was done in one go!
