Hi Erik. Yes, I've always felt it's a very dark, rather peculiar piece.

It is a weird piece considering Bach's overall output. Although it sounds a bit less weird on a baroque lute.

Yes, it is a special piece, but in the overal suite, it can be seen as un interesting intermezzo.
And here, listening was very interesting.
