Good attempt. I would suggest checking your tuning however, something is clearly amiss. Applause for tackling something outside the normal BWV 995-1013 bandwidth!!

 Hi Vinny, thanks for posting. I didn't know this piece from guitar literature. I looked it up and - okay it is within my G Gould recordings collection. From comparison you got the character of the piece in your interpretation. The whole BWV 914 is longer than your recoring and much more elaborating. I like the thought of a guitar transcription of this piece :D . Thanks for this inspiration. Have you done the transcription yourself or is there something sensible out there?
Best regards from Hamburg, Germany

Hi David. Thanks for listening. I'll check my tuner. Could be the low battery or the strings still settling from their the change night before. I need to be more diligent in retuning more often after a string change.

Hi richtm. Thanks for listening and I'm glad to have sparked some inspiration. This is Per-Olov Kindgren's arrangement which he offers for sale on his website. I believe he has only arranged the prelude portion of this toccata. If you end up recording a version, please post. I would love to hear it. :D

Stefano Grondona arranged/recorded the entire BWV 914. "Grondona Play JS Bach" is the album title. Available as mp3 download. The first three movement seem very workable, but the last one? Well, if someone can play the BWV 1006 suite, then this one is manageable I suppose.
