thanks alain,
i took your advice and pinched a few bass lines from a lutenist on youtube. the tempo was dictated by my technique and lack of prep. anyway it opens the door for the big one and tah t should keep me quiet for a few weeks!

All I can say is that that is how you play with a lack of prep. then.....phew!
