US $.6500 Connor #82 spruce 2005, Boston, MA

Post by Phillips99 » Sun Sep 03, 2017 3:36 pm

- Type / luthier: Classical Guitar / Connor
- Year of construction: 2005
- Scale length (mm): 650
- Tuners: Rodgers
- Condition: Average playing wear, light scratches, a string ding from changing strings.
- Price: $6,500
- Viewing / trial possible: Yes
- Location (nearest city): Boston (Natck, MA)

I am not a professional guitar player and would like to pass it on to someone who will be able to use it to it's full potential. This guitar comes with a standard travel case. A video of this guitar played by it's previous owner can be found by searching YouTube video: 4aE6_Q67YvI

It has a sound hole on side and wooden cover piece is included.

I can also possibly include the wooden display case (but would prefer not to ship it.) It's one of the cases seen in the background of many of the Guitar Salon International videos. They sold some a few years ago when remodeling their studios.

Please PM me for additional photos, inquiries, offers or to arrange to play guitar.

If you spent as much time cooking as you did playing guitar, you'd be a master chef! That was how my husband subtly told me he hates my guitar. His justification - music is isolating - I go to another room to practice (where it's quiet), my participation in a guitar orchestra is too time consuming, and lessons are expensive (you get what you pay for.) Now I've discovered that there's a small crack in the soundboard. Well, I live close to Connor's workshop, so off she goes today. I'm hoping for a quick return and then she'll be ready again for sale, hopefully going to a home without so much musical controversy.

If you spent as much time cooking
It's a treat to have such a lovely instrument (I'm a Connor fan).

But then again, perhaps your husband could practice cooking while you practice guitar, and *he* could be the master chef in the household.

Best wishes... maybe it's the guitar you should be keeping...

I just picked up the guitar from Connor. He is truly the one of the kindest people I have ever met. His shop is so beautiful and a den of creativity.

I worked things out with the other half. I told him I'd sell my guitar when he sold his 1967 Old's 98 convertible that's been in the garage for years. Just kidding! We actually worked things out like adults.

Venus is still available to the right buyer but I'm not in any rush.

Glad to hear that. :D

I have to admit I dislike cars as old as that. I want some modern safety features. Old cars may look cool but caution is needed.

Anyway back to the topic. Good luck finding a new home for this. It certainly looks great. Xmas is coming, maybe someone will treat themselves to this guitar. Plenty of guitar players in your area.

So glad you worked it out! (Though maybe keep that deal re the '67 Olds in your back pocket?)

Steve is wonderful, yes! He was so helpful and patient when I was deciding what I wanted in my guitar (I've got a 2015). One day we discovered mutual artistic influences and it led him to the design of my rosette. A little thing, really, but the guitar itself was all I wanted and better. Lots of people love his guitars 'round here, with good reason. But I'm not a bit biased.

Joanne, listen to the voices of past sold guitar regrets...don't sell it. That is a fine looking instrument that you have there. You're gonna miss it when it's gone. I mean you've even got a display case for it. That says how much you love your guitar right there.

Yeah, you're right. This was my new guitar face. I guess I'll call this case closed and figure out how to delete the post.
