 I do believe I recognise that piece of music 'n' all
They quite liked playing this, which was a pleasant surprise as they tend to favor traditional and rather conservative repertoire. Maybe it was the rhythmic aspect... or the fact that Mary-Ann had the last word.

Glad you're back, Martin! This latest bit of the story seems so innocent at first appearance, but I suspect that twists and turns are yet to come... I'll stay tuned. Cheers!

I can't imagine anything dark happening in a simple new nut 'n' bridge job... doubtless they all observe health & safety
guidelines, and the workforce is being well soupervised -

Meanwhile the soupervisor had been off taking another painting break -

(and the model had turned up ill-equipped for the pose required)

Wonderful! And great to see the painting develop in the background. It only needs the Hazelnut characters to inhabit the hat painting, with one perhaps painting, to complete the circle.

Another Hazel back fan checking in. Brilliant work. Brilliant play.

What is "work" and what is "play"? Wow, I'm sounding like David Brent. That's a different thread, certainly.

The saws made from fretwire (May 14 and 18)... I don't know why but I love them. Also the rabbit, and as Pat said, "Great to see the new flowers coming out in the far left border Martin and the visiting rabbit ." Beautiful detail.

That the saws be made of fretwire is a hugely amusing idea Lawler - and if I could find where I've hidden
my bits of fretwire then fretwire saws would be the new choice tools... alas I didn't think that one up -
all credit for that notion goes to your own fertile imagination :)
It's been driving me barmy that I can't find my fretwire bits... but a little bit of tidying and disposing of
rubbish has resulted from the search at least. The saws present here are a bit less laterally-inspired -
I used edging from tinfoil food-trays.

I dunno... it's been in mind to place these characters in paintings, and it's starting now with the right-hand side... I rather wish
I'd let the sirens be portrayed properly (Rognvald's passengers) in the previous - it would have been more amusing for me,
but I was concerned such overpowering beauty of countenance x 3 might prove a handicap to the selling of it,
though I'm not sure what I ended up with's any less handicapped :?

meanwhile, painting-break over, the disposal of evidence attempt is foiled -
