I don't know if my imagination is fertile but it is active, lol. Since we've discussed creativity a bit... I remember Sister Mary James, my unfortunate first grade teacher, dragging me by my ear up to her desk, clutching the paper I had been drawing on, saying very emotionally, "What is this? What are you doing?!! All you do is draw!! Why won't you do your work?!! WHAT IS THIS???", pointing to my picture that looked like a beehive with birds flying around and a World War I era airplane attacking. I learned later, with other teachers, to say, "I'm sorry. I was distracted. I'll try to do better." But instead I said, "That's the birdie airport. It has multiple levels and can handle all kinds of birds taking off and landing. And that's a biplane. It has machine guns." She was sobbing and shaking her head. I walked back to my desk.
