Besides the wit and artistic touch of these scenes I think the reason I like them is because they connect me for a moment with my childhood. My play often was setting up toy figures on the ground in scenes and creating adventures. Well, who didn't do that as a kid?? I have a photo, about age 7, sitting on my living room floor with it covered by toy medieval knights, horses, catapults, a castle, WWII soldiers, tanks, and model airplanes waiting to take off - improvising a story I still remember. My later-to-be-wife did similarly, but on less violent themes with teddy bears (actually, the ones from the other thread). So thank you, Martin, for the time travel.
