NTD - New Theorbo Day!

Post by RobMacKillop » Mon Oct 09, 2017 8:11 pm

I sold one guitar (not my Ambridge) and bought this theorbo from 2002, by Jiri Cepelak of the Czech republic. It's wonderful to play, and sounds great. I hope you like the video.

Cheers, Pat. Music is one of the best ways to relieve stress...so you would think most musicians were stress-free. Unfortunately not! Oh well, things could always be worse.

Rob,

Very nice instrument and video -- beautiful piece you played!

As for the video, when I clicked on the embedded video in your post, I got an error message, but when I clicked on the blue hyperlink below it, I was taken to youtube where the video worked, so the link itself is okay.

Beautiful instrument! I have been looking at multi string guitars lately and your Theorbo sounds and looks great. The bass notes are clear and I love how resonant they are. I couldn't open the link in the large picture but the the link below it to youtube opened for me.

Cool...I just bought a copy of your Bach for Ukulele so you should be getting a small royality check :) That ought to pay for less than 1 33rd of the price of that new toy.

Looks like a beast to hold and play. Are you full gut on that one?
