I second the above post. In totality this is huge task. Get the violin original and read along as you listen and you will start to notice the things going on, added or moved notes, various issues and choices that must be made.
It also depends where you are coming from as a guitar student, and what you are willing to put in.
In the end there really is no best
version, but as you get to know the works better you will start to understand what's best for you.
