Zoran Dukić

Post by novice » Tue Feb 13, 2018 3:02 am

I had the privilege of seeing Zoran Dukić Saturday night in Boston. His second set was an alternation of Bach-Piazzolla-Bach-Piazzolla-Bach-Piazzolla-Bach. It was such a taxing program that he announced at the beginning of the concert that he would not play an encore, instead beginning the show with a "bonus track." It was quite an evening. I was interested to see that his hand position was nearly constantly over the sound hole for the Bach. It sounded amazing but was different in tone than other greats I've seen.

Zoran has been a guest performer and teacher at the Norwegian Guitar Festival a couple of times. What a fantastic guy. He's an excellent player, a strong technical performer and a very friendly person.

I studied with him for a year. He's such an intense person omg.. but yeah, never met anyone who could play with such a delicate touch before.

I heard Zoran play with the European Guitar Quartet. One of the best concerts I've ever been to. Huge fan of his solo playing too!
