Damn little falls into that category because 'white bread' central European music isn't as strong as you wish for
... I remind you that Haydn and Mozart fall into that category.
Hmm, I was not aware that Haydn and Mozart were guitarists. Or did you just change the scope of the 'guitarist composers' discussion arbitrarily?
Oh, I wasn't offering them as listening suggestions. Just questioning the idea that white bread European classicism is not that good...

Thanks for the replies again, going to be checking the names.

One note, i dont like much when the piece intends to slap the guitar or use tremolo. Im hoping to find some piece with rich harmonic content, rich notes, and passages, mostly that, passages,go trhough different moods, get lost in the composition.

didn't say that in general. just for the guitar ... lots of extremely boring, predictable 'white bread' classicistic guitar music. and ... the leap between that and what you call 'world music' is quite wide
Music is a big continent with different landscapes and corners. Some of them I do visit frequently, some from time to time and some I know from hearsay only ...

Guitarist composers who made music for guitar, original piece, not arrangments. Or maybe, if its worth to listen, composers who made some pieces for guitar too.

Im just not a fain of baroque or romantic style.

I preffer more modern pieces, but with the quality of academic studies.

Im really trying to find some long pieces, not just short pieces.

With only guitar or with more instruments too.

Thanks.
I think - and I think you know this too that you need to work this out for yourself.
And if you don't then get some help.

You mean about find composers that i like ? Or work in my own music ?

If is the first, i try, but i find very difficult to find music that i enjoy, ive been with this problem since long, i just cant find music that i find pleasent to listen, i listen a bit of everything, but nothing that i can think to come back and listen again, just small pieces of music.

I play my own music, which i enjoy, but also would like to listen music to enjoy it, i just find it hard, most when its about guitar music, its hard to find the kind of guitar music that i have in mind.

Any with more recommendations ? I preffer minor notes, and slow pieces, rich in harmonization, to make you feel the notes passing to every movement. Could be a guitarist composer or an arrangment of other instrument piece.
