Artist works opinions

Post by bigtoeify » Sat Nov 03, 2018 9:30 pm

Has anyone used the artistworks website? Specifically the classical guitar lessons. I am starting from the very beginning and wanted some opinions on this. Thank you.

Yes I have. The instructional material was good but the time delay in getting feedback on a submitted video was terrible. You should check out classical guitar coner if you haven’t already.

I’ve tried Artistworks and Classical Guitar Corner. They are both excellent sites. In my opinion, Classical Guitar Corner might be a little better for a beginner. ....you really can’t go wrong with either one.

I looked at Classical Guitar Corner. That was my other choice. Thanks for the suggestion all!

Yes I’ve used both and prefer CGC overall. I prefer the way the material is laid out, the videos and the site when compared to Artist Works. Nothing wrong with AW really, just my preference.

Classical guitar corner offers the opportunity for live direct feedback through coaching on a weekly basis. Immediate feedback on playing is the best way to progress. There is a structured learning program for all levels of players. The forum of players are very supportive. The instructional material is first class and much more extensive than Artistworks.
