Two Spanish Pieces

Post by RobMacKillop » Sun Nov 04, 2018 5:42 pm

Is Falla allowed here? I've taken the precaution of just giving an external link.

Canço del Lladre - Song of the bandit...

and

Will-o-the-Wisp by Manuel de Falla, which is great fun to play, though d@mned tricky.

The first string is a Savarez White Card, the rest Aquila Gut and Silk 900. Tuned to 415.

Nice, very intimate performance.
You are causing many to cut their nails. Not me however!

Thanks for sharing! One of the brilliant side effects of learning to play cg, for me, is discovering a wealth of music that I didn’t even know existed. My musical horizons are definitely broadening! And it looks like you enjoyed playing the pieces as much as I enjoyed listening to them. Will-o-the-wisp was especially fun, though way beyond my aspirations. I’m happy to be your audience, though.

Ha, thanks, Karen. I don't play concerts, but am happy to make videos - that way I can avoid people throwing things at me :-)
