This was something that's been on my mind for awhile now, but was afraid to ask! LOL

No, but my buddy does. He lives in an Astro van. He sleeps with his face mashed up against the front of his gig bag. We tease him about sleeping with his guitar.

Yes quite often.
My ex and ex-ex took photos for evidence together with my mother.

I do but, every once in a while my wife gets tired of sleeping on the floor, and kicks my guitar out...; )

Maybe a half dozen times I've slept under covers with a guitar over the covers. My dad sleeps with his guitar on his bed nearly every time my mother is not present.

I admit that I often nap during the day with my guitar at my side, but not actually sleep all night . . .I work weird hour,s so a nap before work rests the eyes & brain, & I can quickly run through the parts I am having difficulty with just before setting off to the coalface (ie jewellery design studio)

I don't sleep with it in bed but I always keep my guitar in its case on the floor right next to the side I sleep on. I admit i get a little anxious if I leave it in the other room at night. Glad to know I'm not alone in this haha

Your question reminds me of a passage in Thomas Mace's Musick's Monument (1676).
And that you may know how to shelter your Lute, in the worst of Ill weathers, (which is moist) you shall do well, ever when you Lay it by in the day-time, to put It into a Bed, that is constantly used. between the Rug and Blanket; but never between the Sheets, because they may be moist with Sweat, etc.
.......
.......
.......
Therefore, a Bed will secure from all These Inconveniences, and keep your Glew so Hard as Glass, and All safe and sure; only to be expected, That no Person be so inconsiderate, as to Tumble down upon the Bed whilst the Lute is There; For I have known several Good Lutes spoil'd with such a Trick.

Fabulous! Now I know how to ameliorate the clamminess that besets my strings when I attempt to play en plein air in moist and temperate latitudes (around 55°N). But, presumably, only rugs and blankets that are under constant use in warmed rooms, and therefore devoid of the dreaded damp, should be employed for such a purpose.

Yes. All of my guitars are in my bedroom.
