South American Chamber Music with 2 guitars and at least 1 other instrument

Post by musicbyandy » Wed Apr 10, 2019 3:31 pm

Hello,

A guitarist recently asked me if I could suggest any South American chamber music for two guitars and at least one other instrument. I suggested chamber music for two guitars and at least one other instrument by European composers: Gragnani, Rebay, da Fossa and Ourkouzounov, but I couldn't think of any South American chamber music for two guitars and at least one other instrument. I also suggested recordings of the Assad brothers with at least one other instrument but I'm not aware of any Assad brothers music with at least one other instrument being in print.

Can anyone suggest any South American chamber music for two guitars and at least one other instrument?

If you look at the site

you'll find a wealth of South American music for Duos. Registration is required to download the scores.

I hope that there are scores for two guitars (maybe a requinto soloing and a chordal part) and a harp. Please let me know if you discover any scores for two guitars (maybe a requinto soloing and a chordal part) and a harp.
