Nice! Love the sensitivity of your playing and your phrasing.

This really made my day.

Hi Mikkel,

thanks for sharing this video. I love Llobet and of corse his short pieces.
I like your tempo , ritardandi also the tone. :casque:
What guitar do you use? Can you explane a little bit your equipment...?
Any particular thoughts behind your interpretation?
Just curious... :bravo:
Regards
Michael

The guitar is a Friederich, I don't do it justice at all, but live and learn.. (I hope). I fell in love with the sound when I was a bit younger and somehow managed before he retired. I recently got into making videos - the camera work is done with a Sony Mirrorless camera and a smartphone and the audio with a pair of Beyerdynamic MC930 condensor microphones. But it's a work in progress still..! I have a few more videos on youtube if you're interested in seeing my progress :D (This is the 3rd one)
The piece, I think, should be somewhat inbetween beautiful and mischievous, not too fast but not too slow either and with enough freedom to play it a bit different each time.. but I don't think that qualifies as a unique interpretation! I learned it some years ago, so I think my thoughts might be long lost..
Thank you very much for your kind words :merci:

What she said. I've just started to try & learn this piece...the modern age, look at the music and youtube
if one needs to - and this one is defintely in rotation. Bravo.
