Mertz, J. K. - Elegie - D11 Video

Post by Alain Bauer » Fri Dec 07, 2018 9:36 am

Hello,
If I'm right I never shared my version of this piece on this site, but only on the French site.
So I do it now.
(this one is with a little reverb, there is another available on my YT channel, as is, if you don't like reverb)

Thank you.
Je découvre. :-)
The elegiac feel is beautifully dropped around the third minute, and the return to it is admirable.
Excellent sound too.

Pax.

Good effort. There are some magic notes that need a bit more juice....vibrato, vibrato, vibrato

Thank you Abd El Ghani AZZI, Desperado, justin231, jbu7309 and dropbydrop for your comments.
Mertz is not that easy to play although we have the great advantage that he was guitarist himself, however virtuoso..., therefore the music is well adapted to this instrument.
