I dare say your version is close to john william's :D who by the way is the best performer of this piece comparing to others (in my idea).

Indeed joy in your Performance. :casque:

:bravo: :merci:

Owl, I am a fellow Aussie guitarist new to this site and I am exploring the treasures here and this is certainly one of the "GEMS" to be found.

Beautiful interpretation, very clear sound and technique. Thank You, Wayne S
P.S Who made your guitar ? very nice balanced sound.

Hello boooom... thanks for listening
I'm afraid my RDLA was removed a while ago and I have no plans to repost it in the near future
Yes, I have worked on and performed Valses poeticos but have not recorded it

Thanks Wayne and Jeffrey, nice to hear from a couple of Aussies and I'm happy you enjoyed the music

Wayne, my guitar is a lattice braced spruce top made by Australian luthier Dan Kellaway... yes, she's a beautifully balanced guitar, great projection and tone... just an all around lovely instrument to play

Thanks all for your comments

Wow! I had to comment on this. I am working on this piece at the moment, have been for a while. I really love the rhythmic quality of your interpretation. I feel that many fine classical guitarists take allot of liberties when playing Spanish pieces giving them a kind of artificial romanticism. I really love the way you kept the rhythm alive in this piece.

I'm glad this percolated up to the top again so I could hear it. Somehow I've missed it when it has come up before and that is a pity!
I just visited the City of Córdoba this spring and the music takes me back there....
Thanks for the "trip", Owl!

I do miss you..... hope to see you more often around the forum!
