Just come across this recording. I remember spending much time on this piece some years ago but gave up the struggle when I realised that I could never achieve the speed required . I think your recording is as good as the one by Pepe Romero and maybe, perhaps,in some ways better since the bass voicings are so distinct: indeed one of the difficulties is holding onto a high position Bar in order to play a sustained bass note when at the same time executing pull offs and hammer- ons at lightning speed --much easier if you drop the Bass note!.
This is a technical "tour de force" and you are to be congratulated on achieving such mastery ,albeit Im sure, with much dedication and endeavour.
Chopin used to sleep with wooden wedges between his fingers to increase their span--now there's a thought !
