That's really a strange label. Is this Japanese writing with red background printed on the label, or a sticker? It seems that the label is signed by Tsuji but it has no serial number that means the guitar must be created before 1981. Can you upload a picture of the guitar front and back?

The over label looks like something Jim Sherry would do. Could this be the Japanese counterpart to Jim Sherry?
be true to the one you love but have many flings with different guitars

guitarras en la espiritu de la:

Thank you for the pictures. I would say it's a low to mid level model of Asturias guitars, maybe one of the first guitars that Wataru Tsuji has built. The red sign and the 'Bass' keyword is really strange.

AST-80. couldn't be that low? :) At least not if it was made in the 70s.

Your judgment considered the model number and the year of manufacture, and my judgment was based on the pictures only. I guess we are both right :-) I think I have now 13(?) Asturias guitars from various epochs, including some entry models like A8 or Standard. I would say the guitar on the pictures is not better than my A8 or my Standard models, so I think it's more a low level model compared to all models of all epochs. I also have an AST 80 guitar -- not a Bass model but a Flamenco model (in mint condition).
