You could get a used Ramirez either 4NE or R4 or 125 or 130 an~os for around 1600 to 1800 dollars. I just picked up a 125 for 1500 USD. it was used and had a few little cosmetic imperfections like string dents. But it's my best sounding guitar. There may also be some luthier guitars that could be had for around 2K used if it is per se a student model. Used is always he best way to go IMO. Kremona and Córdoba also come to mind at around a grand or less if used. Last year I bought a 4NE new for 2100 dollars. Go to some guitar shops and play some. You might even find a double top like a Raimundo for a song and dance if you find a used one.

I suggest that you look at used guitars, but take someone with you that knows what to look for when buying a guitar. I buy all of my guitars from a specific dealer. If I find a guitar in the shop that I'm interested in, I take it upstairs to the shop's luthier, he looks it over for me at no charge. And he'll tell me whether there is anything wrong with it that I hadn't noticed. He kept me from buying the wrong guitar more than once. And if everything passes inspection then I buy with no annoying surprises later.

Picking the right guitar can be tricky, although is a really good start to define a budget. Here's a useful guide https://www.themusicianlab.com/guitar/b ... nder-2000/ let me know what you think. Best of lucks!

Try searching for a 2nd hand Antonio Picado (I have seen a model 60 going for 1200$-1500$, a BRW model 62 for 1600$-2000$)
As long as you do not care for the "poly finish" they are one of the best options price quality (nice seasoned woods, and a very good spanish sound)

BTW I have had 5 Picados,still own 3...

- as Mr. Rain says above...I have only one Picado - model 60 - and I look forward to receive the second one - model 62 - in a couple of weeks. And perhaps it would make sense to contact Picado workshop direcly, necessary data are at their web page.
Antonio Picado, model 60, 2015, Cedar/IRW. Scale 640 mm.
Antonio Picado, model 62, 2018, Cedar/Madagascar Palosanto. Scale 640 mm. Doble Tapa.
