After a little hiatus from forum, I can report on the state of my Turkowiak guitar.
Promiscuous as I am with the guitars, Turkowiak guitar is still in my hands. There are couple of reason for this.
The turnover of these guitars is low it seems. They are expensive; beyond certain price range where only certain profile of player is interested in a guitar like this. I don't want to sell it for nothing or what I paid for it
Now, I will not pretend to be authority on sound, however, I can with certainty say that guitar is amazingly easy to play. Its like, my Alhambra 11p is like a soldier's bow compared to this guitar. This guitar is literally for someone like me. I have a very soft touch. I just can't handle Spanish guitar for a long time. This guitar has amazing low action.
I just recently bought Burguet 1a, and Turkowiak is easier to play than Burguet as well.
This guitar is still in my hands because when I am physically tired from pressing strings on these other guitars I take this one and voila, problem gone.
So, if anybody has arthritis problems or something like this I would highly recommend it.
If I may guess how is this accomplished, this guitar has really waffle thin top. When you pluck the string, the top just gives a little I guess. I am afraid if I smacked it somehow it would shatter. But I have no idea.
