Just a comment:

A friend of mine showed me once a fractional size guitar his daughter uses. I could tune it (open strings) but not play due to the narrow width of the fret board. I could not get my fingers on a single string only. I concluded these are made for children and not adults. So utilising it as a terz guitar might not work. Sorry, no details on the width of the nut.
