Francisco Navarro is among the better luthiers in Paracho, but I would pay $4000 for one. If you are looking for a Paracho guitar, the best makers would include Abel Garcia, Roberto Escobedo, Gerardo Escobedo, Arturo Huipe, Gustavio Vasquez Rubio-- both for the level of their skills but also that they go to the lengths required to maintain the humidity at constant levels in their workshops-- which is essential in Paracho given its extreme wet and dry seasons.

Gustavio Vasquez Rubio
Any relation to German Vazquez Rubio? Or is that what you meant?

Interesting.

Not only did the seller have to relist this guitar to get it sold, there is one completed listing right under it that sold for 800.00.

It might be that a bunch of people looked at it, worried about any possible problems, and so the one guy who bid got a bargain.
Getting better bit by bit, day by day.
