Interesting indeed. I am by no means a strict traditionalist, but I just don't know if I'd want to play a guitar with a top made of Palo Escrito. I guess I'd just have to try one before I make my judgments. It does make me wonder though why the wood is almost always strictly limited to spruce, cedar and sometimes redwood.

I am not serious player at all, and with Navarro reputation i would buy her in a heartbeat, as my last guiter ever, probably... If I could afford to. Plus satisfaction for helping luthier to try somethong new.
