Advice on starter guitar South Africa

Post by Anthonyp » Wed Feb 14, 2018 6:38 am

Hi All,

As I live in Cape Town South Africa, access to decent classical guitars is a bit of a challenge.

The only 2 starter guitars I can try locally are the Yamaha CG192C or the Manuel Rodriguez model c11 maple (more of a crossover guitar).

Does anyone have any thoughts on these?

I appreciate any help 😊

Anthony

I'd go for the Yamaha and it should be more than adequate for a starter guitar. But since you can try them both side by side, let your ears and fingers be the judge.

Anthony,
Many online retailers around the world offer "money back guarantees" and secure shipping. I wouldn't limit your choices to SA since you will have a greater selection than if you buy locally. Why not do an internet search? I hope this helps. Playing again . . . Rognvald
