My ears are not trained, just listen and identify individual notes. So, I have more comfortable method to learn and play this game.
I choose "A Minor melodic scale" to play my 4 notes.
First, I explain what this scale is and how it is derived.
Lets look at "C major scale" and its notes.
We know no sharps and flats in C maj scale.
To create relative A Minor natural scale,you choose 6th degree note from C-Maj scale and write rest of notes after A.
A-B-C-D-E-F-G-A This scale is called A Minor natural scale.No sharps no flats.
To convert this A-Minor natural scale to A-Minor Melodic scale,you raise half step both to 6th and 7th degree.
A-Minor melodic scale will be written as A-B-C-D-E-F#G#A.This scale will be played in ascending order.To play the descending part,we will play A-Minor natural scale.To summarize .
These are the notes in ascending and descending altogether to be included in the game progression.
