HI team

My husband bought me an Ibanez Andorra Recital Classic GA300S guitar in the 1980's which I am handing on to my grandson - should they insure it? If so any idea what it might be worth now
Thank you
An insurance value of 500 Euro might be resonable, not more for such instrument.

Kind regards

Mastercraft series also included the GA 500S and GA 600S which were essentially the same but did not have the double ebony neck insert, however some had a single ebony insert and others none.

The story then continued with the "Andorra" series.....

This Recital series was the top model and designated GA 500S, GA 400S and GA 300S. All had specially selected solid cedar tops and laminated indian rosewood back and sides ....
Does this mean there is an early ga500s version full solid and Kohno braced and ebony fretboard?

The Ibanez ga500s evoluted as follows (?):

Ibanez ga500s (as printed on label, probably a Tama with new label, 6 digit number)
Ibanez Mastercraft ga500s
Ibanez Andorra ga500s
