Love it. Do you mainly use it to shave the braces of the top?

I save it for use on all braces , that way I don't have to sharpen it often .

Getting ready to trim some sound bars in situ and this is just what I need!

I have a few sets of warn serface planner blades. Think I'll cut a pice off and grind accordingly... Heading out to the shop now. I'll post a foto when I'm done.

James, care to share a foto of the top side of your mini plane? I spent an hour in the shop yesterday, all I had, and basically struck out. Always good to be humbled by something simple every once in a while.

I am feeling adventurous after having played my first guitar for a week now and want to play at shaving sound bars although it seems the bass has really improved in the first few days of working her a couple hours at a go.

Thanx

It is fitted no different than any other japanese plane . I imagine one could find more specific instruction ; this video is an outline of how they are made
