Paste wax for tuners?

Post by jdart3000 » Sat Jan 05, 2019 5:49 pm

Hi All -

Just a note to ask if applying a small amount of paste wax in the tuner holes will make the work smoother and eliminate the click and squeak when they are used. In the past I have lightly sanded and rubbed a graphite pencil in the holes, but it hasn't helped much. I only ask before doing it in case the oils in the wax might make matters worse. Any thoughts will be much appreciated.

Thank you,
John
