Carulli, Fernando - op.241/01 Waltz - Video

Post by crisscross » Thu Dec 27, 2018 10:39 pm

I chose a really easy tune to showcase my new Lacote style guitar built by Martin Okenica, which arrived just in time for Christmas.

Nicely done....

If the case is open, should be easy to find in the dark......

Wonderful playing and a very delicate and articulate instrument. I'm sure you will have many years of enjoyment playing your guitar!

Beautiful! I quite like that fuchsia case lining hehe :)

Are you playing without nails here and are those nylgut strings?

Thanks!
Tate

:merci: Thanks Tate! The strings are Nylgut and I'm playing with rather short nails.
Every once in a while, I'm thinking of cutting them off completely, but I don't dare...

Yes it can be a big decision! haha

At least they grow back :)

I cut mine off about three years ago and never needed to grow them back since.

Maybe some day..

Great video! I loved listening to the music and learning about Lacote. Thx for posting.

ps my nails are also a train wreck but I’d never cut them off.
