Hey all -- new video up today! This is a short Moderato by Giuliani in C major. I wasn't able to find the opus number, but it appears that he's written quite a few studies with this texture of a lower arpeggio and a melody on the higher strings. It kind of reminds me of a piano piece, with the left hand playing the arpeggio and right hand playing the melody. Anyway, it's a great piece to work on balancing of voices and bringing out the melodic line out of the thick texture. There's also some great voice leading in the inner voices which I like to bring out, to me it adds a 3rd dimension to the piece.
If anyone knows what Opus this comes from, please let me know as I was unable to find it.
Thanks!
Edit - Apparently the edition that I have titled this piece "Moderato", but it's actually titled Allegretto.
