Stone, John - Blue City

Post by John Stone » Sun Aug 06, 2017 5:04 pm

This is a recent solo composition of mine in a jazz vein. Played on my 2001 Manuel Velazquez.

Very nice piece of music and liked your laid back playing of it . Always nice to hear a different kind of piece at this forum.

Thank you for the kind words, Bert! I play a lot of classical music and studied classical guitar in college, but the music I write often reflects the pop music and jazz I was steeped in as a kid.

Really nice tune, do you have sheet music for this, or was this more of an improvisation? The style is impressive. :bravo:

Thank's John. Excellent vibe and a great piece to listen to. (particularly with a cleansing Ale)
