Barrios Mangoré, Agustín - op.08/03 Vals

Post by MaritimeGuitarist » Tue Mar 06, 2018 2:55 am

Here is my version of Barrios' op. 08 no. 3

I recently purchased a pair of Behringer C2s and have been messing around with them for the past two weeks. Truth be known, I've really posted this video with the hopes of receiving some feedback about the overall sound I'm getting with them. I am very much a novice when it comes to recording. I apologize for the intonation in a couple of places--you'll know them when you hear them. (feel free to cringe!).

When I originally posted this piece back in March, I had been working on it for just over 2 months--I started just after last Christmas. It has now been almost 9 months since the original recording. Since then, I've continued working on the piece and I thought it would be fun to post an updated version for comparison. It's still not perfect (note the flub towards the end of the C section), but I think there has been some improvement. Thoughts?

Love the first recording, listening to the second as I type.

You're a beautiful player. Very clean, well shaped, nice sound, great facility. I enjoyed these very much, thanks for sharing!
