Here are my recordings--rough, but I am posting anyway. :desole: I will follow up with the musical game soon.
Not too bad, just listen carefully to the timings in GHIRIBIZZO and play slower if necessary.

I've added your recordings to the qualifying submisions. I'm going to be away for a few days and John Montes will be keeping an eye on the lessons.
Remember to watch out for the exam piece later this week in the registration thread viewtopic.php?f=41&t=54023&start=885#p1273468

Kind of frustrating. I'd rather be doing other things.

David
Glad to hear you have sorted your problem.
I've added the musical game for you and Jenni onto the qualifying submissions. These will be updated onto the lesson index when Marko does his next run and will show you are now qualified for the exam.

Congratulations to Jenni and David for qualifying for the exam. The volume of practice it takes to complete D03 requires a significant investment of time and effort and you've done it. :bravo:

I've been auditing the D03 class in preparation for entering D04 in the fall. I've started playing the exam piece although I am not eligible for the exam (already passed it). It's different from the exam the year I took D03 and in fact we didn't cover this piece in my year. Still it's a good challenge and a fun piece to work on. I suspect the highest awards in the exam will go not only for playing clear and clean but on correctly observing the timing notations and on attention to which notes should be sustained. The fingering suggested seems to me to be spot on and I probably would have come up with a less perfect sequence without it. I tend to sometimes ignore the 'a' finger and have to consciously work to include it where appropriate.

Best regards,
Bob G.

I didn’t take the exam :( The month of May is just horrible for me (I am a teacher) and I couldn’t put in the practice, but I am planning on participating in year 4, as much as I can. My main purpose for learning classical guitar is to improve my guitar and banjo fingerpicking skills :)
