[PDF] Albeniz, Isaac - op.165/02 Tango

Post by geraldkidd » Sun Jun 26, 2016 6:15 pm

Tango, Op 165, No 2, by, Isaac Albeniz, written for the piano, transposes nicely to the guitar in dramatic and romantic way. Sometimes played faster and slower I hope you like the pace I have chosen. Either way and in any event, its quite hard to play. With all this in mind, my arrangement offers guitarists a slightly simpler way to play without loosing any of the harmonies, or flow of the piece. I hope many guitarist try my score and enjoy the challenge that awaits.

Thanks for sharing - however I find your arr. even more difficult than Segovia's which is very difficult as it is! You also have some wrong melody notes in measure 9.

I really like the arrangement although I'm missing the triplets found in the original. Instead you supply quaver/semiquavers
They produce a quite different melody. I'd prefer definitely the original which produces more tension in the melody.

Thanx for the transcription!
