Great job on this and thanks for posting Intune. Another gem added to my library.

I did have to make a few fingering changes to ease my old arthritic fingers though.

Actually, measure 18 I changed the middle note of the triplet to an open E string just to make it flow a little smoother.

Measure 57 -I think you might have meant to have the A in the first beat (middle of triplet) to be played with the 4th finger, that one hurts, the way you have it.

Measure 48 although playable for me I find playing the 3rd beat with 1 and 2 is a bit easier for me, at this tempo swaping fingers is not too difficult.

Cheers,AO.

Very pleased you like it, AO. I see nothing wrong with changing the fingering if it makes the piece easier for you to play. The fingering indicated suits me and is merely a recommendation, not set in cement. I hope the "old arthritic fingers" feel better soon...

Hi there,

I'm brand new to classicalguitardelcamp and I tried to download the Scarlatti K466 transcription but i get this message: "You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post." What do I do wrong?

Thanks,
Zoltan

Hi Zoltan. Welcome to the forum. You should introduce yourself here and that should solve your problem along with giving you some hints on how best to use the forum.

Hi, Intune,

I was hoping to download your stellar arrangement of K466. For some reason I get a "don't have permissions...
message".

I'm dying to learn it!

Thanks,
Leo

Hi Leo,

Sorry to hear you're having problems downloading the score. Assuming you have Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is required for downloading, it likely is an issue the moderators can help you work through, and I suggest you contact them -- perhaps through a private message -- for guidance.

Glad you like my Scarlatti arrangement.

Cheers,

It wouldn't be Reader that does the download, only the opening - it probably that Leo hasn't posted enough times to gain access to scores.

This is likely correct and should now be resolved.

diemaf:
After listening to Edwards, I'd say that although the two arrangements are in the same E minor key, they're not carbon copies of each other (some octave differences here and there, etc. etc) -- but on the whole they're quite close. If you haven't heard it already, you can listen to Denian Arcoleo's recording of my arrangement in the "Our Recordings of Early Music" section of the forum. Edwards plays the piece at a slower tempo than Denian and has chosen to ignore the repeat signs.
